Made from flexible and durable polyethylene plastic with a hook-and-loop closure for fast and easy installation and removal, the shield s interior surface is lined with black felt to absorb unwanted light reflections and prevent moisture from condensing in and sliding toward the plate. The shield has a long notch to provide the clearance required to accommodate a 4 wide dovetail mounting plate and to ensure a solid connection.
